Home of the
Mighty Mustangs

Have a wonderful and relaxing break.  Spend time with your families.  We will see you on the 24th.

4th and 5th graders meet every Tuesday at lunch after and after school, 2:45 - 3:30, room 602. .

Our Artist in Residence program has begun.   Mrs. Matheisen will be displaying student art work in the office.  Stop by and check out the great work.  She will also be hosting Art club at lunch on Monday's at lunch and Tuesday's after school from 2:45-3:30.  Permission slips are in the office for the after school.  A big THANK YOU to PTA and Susan Mathiesen for making this possible for SMES.

SWEATS (ONLY) NEEDED FOR THE OFFICE
If you are cleaning out outgrown clothing we could use your hand me downs.   Our students frequently need a change of clothing when something goes wrong.  We have plenty for the kinder kids but we need larger sizes.  We prefer sweats so that we don't need to keep many sizes and don't have an issue with fashion!

We Tip 1 800-78-CRIME
To ensure a safe and orderly campus throughout the school year, we need your cooperation in supporting our school and celebrating the great things we are doing at Santa Margarita Elementary. In the past few months we have had an increase in the amount of vandalism and graffiti on our campus. The defacing and destroying of property can be costly to our school and district and may cause people to think our school is not well-cared for. Because our community and families do care about our school and what happens here, we are asking that you if you see or know of any vandalism occurring on our campus, that you please call the San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Office at 781-4550 or We-Tip at 1800-78-CRIME. We appreciate your help and support in keeping our campus safe.
